Holi-Festival brings colors to your life 

Holi is a cultural festival celebrated in many countries. many people are not aware about this festival of colors. it is a festival of colors celebrated among people across the different countries. once people get to know about this cultural festival they will get a reason to celebrate this colorful festival. the festival of love where people unite together forgetting all bad feelings towards each other and celebrate occasion. the festival lasts for a day and  a night. the festival has got different names in different countries.

In the revising essay there are some main points that I need to talked about which I did not mention in the essay which was about cultural festival- Holi. In my essay I talked about the festival, why it is celebrated, how it is celebrated, importance of the festival and impact on the society. I wrote a blog post about Holi in which I talked about the immense growth of festival worldwide.it is becoming very popular in different countries. Also I mentioned about the colors used and the activities done during and after the festival. The main points of my discussion was to making everyone aware about the festival as it is not popular worldwide. But once people started getting know about the festival and as they see the way of celebration o the festival everyone feels like celebrating with full enthusiasm an together with their family, friends and relatives.

          There are problems which I talked about during celebration of the festival. The problems are mostly related to colors which are used during celebration of the occasion. The colors are not bad if they are use in the right way and bought from a good well known place. If a good brand colors are used which are eco-friendly then there is no harm to people and to environment as well. Many other problems like loud music, waste of water, air pollution, dirty surrounding, bad air, harm to pets and also risk of life are some of the major problems people faced during this occasion. If precautions are not taken then it create a huge impact on society and on personal life of the people.

          In the introduction part I added some more information about Holi like when they actually start celebrating it. The old text says it begins from morning and last till the evening but it actually start from the night before the actual day of celebration. The content of the paragraph 1 talked about the harmful effects of colors and precautions need to be taken for that. To add more new text to it and giving more information regarding colors if a good brand colors are purchased from a good well known place then there are no side effects of colors and they are eco-friendly as well.

          In the last context I talked about the special drinks and sweets made on the occasion. But giving more information about the food culture that are being followed on this occasion people mostly like to drink and celebrate the occasion. Everyone sit together and play games and drink alcohol of their own choice. Also the festival is well known for playing cards. Mostly people gather together at one place and play cards.

          Talking about the games which are well known like water balls games, water gun play. In these games people throw water balls on each other and also with water gun which is filled with different colors an splash the water on the faces and on over the body of each other. This is the tradition and the way of celebrating Holi. At some places the music is played on speakers and people from different places in the city gather together at one place and dance with the music and celebrate the occasion.

          The Holi festival is actually a two day celebration a night before people burn the firewood and offer prayer and celebrate with colors. The prayer is said while they burn the firewood as a way of celebrating special occasion. This is how the celebration starts and people start visiting each other places from the night before the day of celebration.

 Holi is celebrated by putting colors on faces. However, Holi is mostly seen as a time for people to get together and enjoy themselves. It is to be a time when friends, families and communities can get together without any concern for caste or ethnicity. everyone witness this festival of colors by throwing colors everywhere, water balls on each other. everything seems like yellowish and reddish

Social significance of holi 

Holi helps to bring the society together and strengthen the bond among the people living in the society. the festival is celebrated by people of different religion as everyone like to be a part of such a colorful an joyous festival. also, the tradition of the holi is that even enemies turn friends on holi and forget any feeling of hardship among each other. on this day people do not differentiate between rich and poor and everybody celebrate the festival together with a spirit of bonhomie and brotherhood.

In the evening time people visit friends and relatives and exchange gifts, sweets and greetings. this helps in building strong relationships and strengthening emotional bonds between people.

The festival is also celebrate as a party of colors in many different countries. today holi has created a huge impact on people that they can not stop themselves from celebrating this festival. festivals describes a lot about culture and the bringing up people together at one place. holi has been a well known festival across the countries. this festival today is not only known for the colors but it is also famous for the sweets and drinks which is made on this occasion.

there are a lot of things to be learn in spite of just having fun on this occasion. this festival gives a message to the people that add more colors to your life. play together, live happily, be responsible towards environment. also, this festival tells us to be Eco friendly and not to cause pollution and spoil the environment.

A festival that celebrates universal brotherhood, love and unity and for all the community. this festival welcome everyone with open arms. the festival is getting popular and being celebrated worldwide mostly in London and cities in South and Central America, Europe, Africa and middle east. the goal behind this is a wonderful experience for the people.

People across the world are organizing this festival at different places across the cities in bringing the core ideas of the wonderful festival to the world. The festival to remember for one and all that share happiness among people. Be colorful as holi and share colors of life.
